Murder Mystery

Our Murder Mystery evening is fun, interactive and personalised to your group. Our professional actors greet the guests in character from the moment you walk through the door. We’ll even write your group (and particular individuals) into the script before the event date so that rather than you just watching this take place, you are completely involved in your very own personalised Murder Mystery.

How It Works:

• The Murder Mystery takes place over a dinner
• Each table has a Murder Mystery list of characters with detailed background personalities on each character
• There are a minimum of 3 professional actors playing out the roles
• Scenes are acted out between courses. The Characters mingle with the guests during the evening
• The actors join the group for dinner
• The guests pick up clues during the scenes and have to establish a motive and solve the murder at the end of the night
• We can book the restaurant or run the event in any restaurant you have booked

CSI

A completely unique role-play event that will have your group solving a dastardly murder!!!

Each team will have to investigate a crime scene, track down and interrogate witnesses (played by professional actors) around the city centre, decipher clues, collect forensic evidence, solve some puzzles and present their case to the chief inspector. Add a lot of humour and a little good, honest police footwork, and you have a killer event.

How It Works:

• We book an appropriate venue of your choice
• During the introduction and Murder takes place on the premises
• The Sergeant meets group, introduces himself and presents the evidence
• Three actors perform a range of characters
• It’s a mix between a Murder Mystery and a Treasure Hunt
• You are the detectives under the watchful eye of the Garda Commissioner

The commissioner briefs the teams. Each team gets an investigation pack which contains a map, some tips on solving clues and collecting evidence.

Each team must first gather clues around the body. This will lead them to the next venue for the investigation where they could meet the next witness, a suspect or perhaps gather some vital physical evidence or clues.

The investigation will take them to different venues around the city – if they make the wrong choices, they could wind up on some wild goose chases so this must be on their guard!

They will then have to piece all of this together to form an investigation report, which will be rated and scored at the end by the commissioner. Even if all the teams solve the mystery, the one that scores the most points for how effectively they compile their case file will be the winner!

Treasure Hunt

We tailor each Treasure Hunt producing a unique set of challenges to each client. You can decide the theme and how challenging/fun you want the hunt to be. Works well for all group sizes.

How It Works: Standard Package

• We book a venue of your choice
• Teams and team names are decided prior to the event
• Each team gets branded Booklet, Laminated Map with locations numbered, Clip Board, Pens and Clues
• Our facilitator meets the group, explains how it all works and sets the teams off
• Duration: 1½ to 2 hours
• We combine clues, challenges, Scavenger Hunt items and a bar challenge if appropriate
• Winning Team gets Bottle of Champagne

Character Challenge: We will place a professional actor along the route, posing as a busker, a famous footballer or a mystery Irish character. The teams will have to find them, interact with them and get information from them in order to win points for their team.

Drum For Fun

A fun-filled night of live music, with a twist – you are the musicians

Within minutes everyone has an instrument and is grooving together as a group. Excellent fun and great for breaking the ice and getting your night off to a flying start. We use all sorts of drums and percussion instruments – from big bass drums to bodhrans, right down to small samba bells. We’ll turn your entire group into a Brazilian Samba drumming band. The end product is your group performing a full piece of music together, complete with dancing, solos and a grand finale.

• Our Musician meets group and starts with fun rhythm games, immediately putting group at ease

• We supply up to 400 drums so it works for all sizes

The Big Interactive Quiz

The Big Interactive Quiz Show is a high energy fully computerised quiz event like no other in Ireland. It is suitable for a range of activities including social evenings, team building and client entertainment.

The Equipment:

• Each Team has a Wireless electronic buzzer for their table.
• Team names are pre-recorded and announced through the PA system and on our large screens as the team buzz in.
• A TV Gameshow style, ‘Buzz Off Podium’ (as in Family Fortunes) with built-in microphones and scoreboard is used for some fun questions.
• Table Light Box’s that are exactly like that you find on University Challenge and A Question of Sport are used for the finals.
• PA, Lights, Projectors and Screens and Computer software which add up team scores automatically through our interactive buzzers.

How it Works:

• We book a suitable venue for your group
• Equipment set up takes 45 minutes and includes: Digital Buzzers, PA System, Computers, Backdrop, A Question of Sport Style Buzzers on stage.
• Our MC/Hosts are highly entertaining and professional.
• Rounds Include: Music, Photos, TV Team Tunes and General Knowledge.
• You can customise by supplying specific company/industry questions.
• Teams answer questions in quick fire rounds and winning teams get to come to the stage for knockout rounds at our BUZZ OFF Podium and Question of Sport Style Buzzers on stage.

Silent Movie Making

Make a short film where your team are the stars. Learn the physicality, comic timing, and script writing all in one day. At the end, sit back and laugh at the team in action.

Lessons:

Your team will use a different part of their brain as they delve into the world of silent movies. Team building will be used in scripting, and direction and sharing a fun project will make bring the team closer.

The Workshop:

Watch your team work together and grow together as they learn the ins and outs of being in a silent movie. Charlie Chaplin, Buster Keaton and Fatty Arbuckle will all provide laughs as well as inspiration.

This course will require team members to be physical, funny and to work together towards a common goal … laughter. At the end your team will leave with the movies they have made and some great times.

How it Works:

Movies: (10 minutes)

The team will watch and laugh as old movies are dissected right in front of them. See the masters at work and study the moves that make it happen.

Using your face and body: (7 minutes)

With no sound the team will have to be able to express emotions and advance stories with out words (the double-take, shock, scowl, love, etc.).

Props: (7 minutes)

All of the great comics used everyday items around them to generate laughter. Learn how and why it works.

Script Writing: (10 minutes)

What makes a good short movie? Find out the three things you need to make it work. (Conflict, Comedy, Conclusion).

The challenge: (20 minutes)

The teams are then divided up and each unit will write, star in and produce their own three minute movie.

Filming:

Each team is given 15 minutes to film their masterpiece.

The show: (15 minutes)

Laugh and smile as the group watches their own comic adventures. Great fun for the whole group and a fantastic keepsake for the company.

Murder Mystery Pub Crawl

Our Actor meets you in the first venue; you are each given a character to play for the event, you receive your characters names with details of your likes/dislikes, characteristics/traits, hobbies, date of birth etc…Suddenly the Actor is poisoned and “One of YOU” has done it.

You have to solve the crime and find the suspect by interviewing the other guests. Our actor plays multiple characters and gives out clues in each pub you visit.

Team Magic

Magic provides the ideal vehicle for a team building breakout session as every participant begins at the same level. We have many levels of workshop from Fun Based Workshops to Creative Team Building and Training.

How it works:

• The workshop starts with a 15 minute interactive magic show which is based around mind reading.
• Everyone will then learn an amazing rope magic effect, turning one rope into three and then back into one.
• Afterwards the group will be split up into teams and be given a magic props/effect which they must work creatively as a group to understand, practice and then perform. Once the group understands how the effect works they must then decide how they will present it using the skills learned below.

Comedy Improv Show

Sit back and be entertained or interact as much as you want with our Comedy Improv Show. Our comedy improv show is ideal as pre/post dinner entertainment, or during your conference or company away day. “The Improv Team is made up of some of Ireland’s top comedy actors and performers who are all regulars on the Irish comedy circuit, performing weekly with various different comedy groups including Ireland’s top two Improv Troupes, The Dublin Comedy Improv (International Bar) and The Craic Pack (The Bankers Bar).”

How it works:

• Each table has large cards with completely random words written on the cards. Table 1,2,3 hold up their word s to start the game. As the show starts the guests can write their own word suggestions to change the story and challenge the Improv troupe.
• Duration up to one hour
• Our actors perform a variety of scenes based on games such as party guest, translations, etc.
• All the performances are based on suggestions from you, the audience, so you can
  really make the night your own!
• We also provide suggestion cards to help you out if you’re stuck for ideas

Dragon Boating Event

Dragon boating is an ancient Chinese sport which dates back over 2000 years. Dragon Boating is the ultimate team building activity. It is not only competitive; it is sociable, fun, colourful and dynamic. As a sport it is all-inclusive, great fun and help people stay fit and healthy.

We operate all over Ireland and it can be incorporated into a Summer BBQ, company sport day or as a standalone event.

We have a range of great venues where you can combine Dragon Boating into a larger event.

The dragon boat itself is deeply imbedded in China’s dragon culture, with each boat having an ornately carved dragon’s head at the bow and a tail in the stern. The boat is painted with scales and the paddles symbolically represent the dragon’s claws. Modern day dragon boating has evolved as a high performance sport, capturing the imagination of the world by storm. With over 50 million paddlers participating annually in competitions worldwide, it is the fastest growing water sport in the world.
