Treasure Hunt

We tailor each Treasure Hunt producing a unique set of challenges to each client. You can decide the theme and how challenging/fun you want the hunt to be. Works really well for all group sizes.

How It Works: Standard Package

• We book a venue of your choice
• Teams and team names are decided prior to the event
• Each team gets a (branded) laminated map with locations numbered, clip board, pens and clues
• Our Facilatator meets the group, explains how it all works and set the teams off
• Duration: 1-1/2 to 2 hours
• We combine clues, challenges, scavenger Hunt items and a bar challenge if appropriate
• Winning Team gets a Bottle of Champagne

Character Challenge: We will place a professional actor along the route, the teams will have to find them, interact with them and get information from them. You can choose from the following:

A Busker: The teams will have to find the musician, when found, they will have to tell us which song he is singing, but the musician will also give the team a laminated lyric sheet and they will have to sing the song with him. The musician will then mark each team on effort, harmony and stage presence – brilliant fun and always works a treat.

Famous footballer: We will have an actor dressed as a famous footballer complete with kit and football. Each team will have to find him, identify him and ask certain questions to get the points. He will then ask for one team member to play ‘keepy uppies’ and the amount that team member completes will be added to their score!

Mystery Character: The clues will lead the teams to discover a mystery Irish character. The character could be a anything from a politician to a TV personality or historical legend.

The Big Interactive Quiz Show is a high energy fully computerised event. The event comes with electronic buzzers for each table, a ‘Buzz Off’ podium and Table Light Box’s that are brilliant fun and exactly like that you find on any TV game show.

Christmas Drum for Fun

Christmas Show Options:

Full Stage Show

Description: The full stage show is 30 minutes in length and is ideal for after dinner, when energies may need a lift before hitting the dance floor. His show, which was in development for three years, incorporates humour, illusion and mind reading. Audience participation is key, with the former president of the mystic circle bringing up various people from the audience to be amazed and awed at his skill. It’s fast, funny and fantastic. As a taster, before the full show, Ruairi can perform his renowned walkabout magic. His innate charm and style sees him mingling with the crowd or table-hopping, eliciting gasps of amazement, shrieks and spontaneous rounds of applause from the guests.

Suited to: Works best for a seated crowd, of no minimum size.

Mini Show

Description: The mini show is approx 30 minutes in length and again is ideal for after dinner. It is ideal for a smaller group or informal venues as it is performed without the addition of sound amplification or lights.

Walkabout: 2 Hour Session
Walkabout works best at the beginning of the night. It provides guests with something to focus on, and something to chat about afterwards. It sets the tone for the evening – exciting and fun. Guests feel like they’ve been treated to something really extra special.

CSI

A completely unique role-play event that will have your group solving a dastardly murder!!! Each team will have to investigate a crime scene, track down and interrogate witnesses (played by professional actors) around the city centre, decipher clues, collect forensic evidence, solve some puzzles and present their case to the chief inspector. Add a lot of humour and some good, honest police footwork, and you have a killer event.

How It Works:

• We book an appropriate venue of your choice
• The Seargeant meets group and while
• Three actors perform a range of characters
• It’s a mix between a Murder Mystery and a Treasure Hunt
• You are the detectives under the watchful eye of the Garda Commissioner

As your group arrives they are greeted by the Commissioner and suddenly there is a loud Gunshot, yes a Murder has been committed on the premises and you have to solve it.

The commissioner briefs the teams. Each team gets an investigation pack which contains a map, some tips on solving clues and collecting evidence.

Each team must first gather clues around the body, (a forensics officer will join them to guide them in this). This will lead them to the next venue for the investigation where they could meet the next witness or even a suspect or perhaps gather some vital physical evidence or clues.

The investigation will take them to different venues around the city – if they make the wrong choices, they could wind up on some wild goose chases so this must be on their guard! They will meet some very shady characters, come across some quite challenging puzzles and will have to search out vital pieces of evidence.

They will then have to piece all of this together to form a coherent investigation report, which will be rated and scored at the end by the commissioner. Even if all the teams solve the mystery, the one that scores the most points for how effectively they compile their case file will be the winner!

Team Magic

Magic provides the ideal vehicle for a team building breakout session as every participant begins at the same level. We have many levels of workshop from Fun Based Workshops to Creative Team Building and Training.

The event can last from one and a half hours to a half day programme.

Magic provides the ideal vehicle for a team building breakout session as every participant begins at the same level. This 1 hour 30 minute demonstration and hands on workshop will build your team members self confidence while also providing an entertaining and creative team building session.

Employees will be surprised by their own capabilities. They will have an incentive to get involved as the skills and tricks taught are highly entertaining and can be used and taken away to impress colleagues, family and friends.

Magic Theory

Your group will learn the basics of magical theory which will be useful in gaining, holding and controlling attention, presenting more powerfully and becoming more confident and charismatic. These will be referred to later in the performance section.

Professional Performances

Learn & perform magic effects

Your group will initially be taught to perform two magic effects. Afterwards the group will be split up into teams and be given a magic effect which they must work creatively as a group to understand, practice and then perform!

A strong, punchy, entertaining performance is a great way to break the ice with the group so at the beginning of the session your group can sit back, relax and enjoy a performance from your Magical Trainer.

Overview and Itinerary

Each Workshop can be customized and tailored to suit your needs and requirements however below please find an idea of the timing and flow of the workshop.

• 3.45pm – Magician arrives and meets client contact
• 4.45pm – Room and Workshop setup complete
• 5.00pm – Staff Arrive and are seated
• 5.10.pm – Introduction and Performance
• 5.25pm – Magic Theory
• 5.45pm – First trick using nothing by your hands is performed and explained including the misdirection required. Everyone practices together and then performs effect together as a group
• 5.55pm – Second trick is performed, taught and then given to each member of the group who are then given a chance to practice together in pairs
• 6.15pm – Group is split into separate teams and each is given an unexplained magic effect. They must work together to figure it out and then later a leader from each team must perform their magic effect for the entire group
• 6.45pm – Prize giving!
• 6.50pm – Members leave with their new magic skills, effects and tricks
• 7.30pm – Cleanup complete and ready to depart

The Big Interactive Quiz

The Big Interactive Quiz Show is a high energy fully computerised event. The event comes with electronic buzzers for each table, a ‘Buzz Off’ podium and Table Light Box’s that are brilliant fun and exactly like that you find on any TV game show.

How it Works:

• We book a suitable venue for your group
• Equipment set up takes 45 minutes and includes: Digital Buzzers, PA System, Computers, Backdrop, Question of Sport Style Buzzers on stage.
• The host himself will be a larger than life character Big Bob Glitz.
• Rounds Include: Music, Photos, TV Theme Tunes and General Knowledge.
• You can supply specific company/industry questions.
• Teams answer questions in quick fire rounds and winning teams get to come to the stage for knockout rounds at our BUZZ OFF Podium and Question of Sport Style Buzzers on stage.

Add Ons:

• Some examples include a round where the contestants have to come up with a trailer for a movie, or where they must make something useful from a collection of objects that the host will present them with. Our professional actors will chip in and act out scenes, which you’ll be quizzed on, and also act as assistants to your brilliant host!
• The host himself will be a larger than life character Big Bob Glitz – A very strange character indeed and when the contestants enter the Gameshow they enter Bob’s weird and wonderful world! Bob will be ably assisted by an assortment of other amusing and strange characters that will ensure that the contestants will be checking whether or not they have entered a Gameshow or a strange parallel dimension!
• The Quiz can have a large amount of acted out sequences, and offers the opportunity for participants to use physicality and imaginative mental processes to achieve their goals.

Juggling Workshop

See your team’s confidence soar as they learn a new skill in only an hour. Watch, as by the end, they work together to juggle four balls at once. The experience is one of fun and the memories made will form a great bond for your team.

Lessons:

Your team will learn not to be afraid to try new things. It is emphasized that “To learn, you must make mistakes, but keep going”. This is great if you are introducing a new IT system or reinforce sales morale.

At the end, your team will walk away with the knowledge that what looks hard at first can be learned. To do this you must break a task down into simple achievable steps that work progressively.

The Workshop:

Laugh as Jack Flash starts with a juggling show that combines skill and comedy. The best part is that your team joins in as volunteers.

As your team watch the show, they will be thinking “I’ll never be able to do that.” But, when the show is over, Jack passes out juggling balls, and over the next 40 minutes, the majority will learn to juggle three balls.

At the end of the workshop not only can the staff juggle but they get to take home three juggling balls with your company logo branded onto them. This is a great exercise that will leave the participants smiling and with a new skill.

How it Works:

• Comedy juggling show with staff used as volunteers (20 minutes)
• Pep talk about the skills required to be a juggler (5 minutes)
• One ball juggling (5 minutes)
• Two ball juggling (7 minutes)
• Three ball juggling (7 minutes)
• Juggling Contest. Each person is given three tries to see how many throws and catches they can do.The three with the highest scores win small prizes(7 minutes)
• Building the team. This is a small demonstration at the end. Two people are put together to juggle three balls. Then four people and work as a team to juggle four balls at once with help from Jack. This is proof positive that if everyone works together as a team

Team Apprentice – YOU’RE HIRED!!!!!

In this event, participants can experience the thrills of what it’s like to be playing the part of a contestant on TV’s ‘The Apprentice’ – except this time, it’s a live event!!! The key to this event is fun and participation with a healthy dose of competition.

The participants get to meet our very own immensely successful entrepreneur, Bill Sullen, who has made millions selling almost out of date fruit all over the world with his company ‘Just in time and Juicy!’. He also runs the most successful second hand car sales business in North Dublin – ‘Cars or wha’?’, with branches almost nationwide. He will become their mentor for the course of the event, teaching them skills from his own business acumen and vast experience.

However, this is a competition so just like on the famous TV programme, the participants will be split into teams and will be set tasks to complete by Bill. Then, at the end of the event, the teams will be brought into the boardroom for a grilling by Bill where ultimately most of the teams will be fired and only one will be hired! Bill will be ably assisted by his assistants, Simon Scowl and Margaret Dour – both of whom will monitor the teams as they work together in the hope of achieving the ultimate goal – to be hired as the apprentices to Bill Sullen!!!

How it Works:

At the start of the event, the group will be introduced to Bill who is renowned for his hard -nosed business demeanour. He will in turn introduce them to his helpers, Margaret and Simon and he will then explain to the participants what they will have to do to win the competition. This will take the form of a business presentation. The group will then be divided into teams (although it is advised that this be done beforehand to save time) and each team will choose a name, which they will report to Bill or his helpers. Bill will then send them off on their tasks and give them the time limits they have to complete each task.

Murder Mystery

Our Murder Mystery evening is fun, interactive and personalised to your group. Our professional actors perform the evening, and you are greeted in character from the moment you walk through the door. We’ll even write your group (and particular individuals) into the script before the event date so that rather than you just watching this take place, you are completely involved in your very own personalised Murder Mystery.

How It Works:

• The Murder Mystery takes place over a dinner
• Each table has a Murder Mystery list of characters with detailed background personalities on each character
• There are a minimum of 5 professional actors playing out the roles
• Scenes are acted out between courses. The Characters mingle with the guests during the evening
• The guests pick up clues during the scenes and have to establish a motive and solve the murder at the end of the night
• We can book the restaurant or run the event in any restaurant you have booked

Silent Movie Making

Lessons:

Your team will use a different part of their brain as they delve into the world of silent movies. Team building will be used in scripting, and direction and sharing a fun project will make bring the team closer.

The Workshop:

Watch your team work together and grow together as they learn the ins and outs of being in a silent movie. Charlie Chaplin, Buster Keaton and Fatty Arbuckle will all provide laughs as well as inspiration.

This course will require team members to be physical, funny and to work together towards a common goal … laughter. A| the end your team will leave with the movies they have made and some great times.

How it Works:

Movies: (10 minutes)

The team will watch and laugh as old movies are dissected right in front of them. See the masters as work and study the moves that make it happen.

Using your face and body: (7 minutes)

With no sound the team will have to be able to express emotions and advance stories with out words. (The double take, shock, scowl, love, )

Props: (7 minutes)

All of the great comics used everyday items around them to generate laughter. Learn how and why it works.

Script Writing: (10 minutes)

What makes a good short movie? Find out the three things you need to make it work. (Conflict, Comedy, Conclusion.)

The challenge: (20 minutes)

The teams are then divided up and each unit will write, star in and produce their own three minute movie.

Filming:

Each team is given 15 minutes to film their masterpiece.

The show: (15 minutes)

Laugh and smile as the group watches their own comic adventures. Great fun for the whole group and a fantastic keepsake for the company.
